How to reach the Maintenance Department

Do you have an issue in your HRA owned rental unit that you need to have addressed by the maintenance department?

When is a work order urgent or an emergency?

Urgent: A work order item that is not an emergency, but needs attention in a timely manner.
Example: A toilet is running.

 

Emergency: A work order that poses an immediate threat to life, health, safety or property or related to fire safety.
Example: A toilet that will not stop overflowing and will cause damage to other property if it is not repaired.

 

Are residents charged for Maintenance Services?

The HRA does not charge tenants for normal wear and tear to their apartments. In the instance where damage is caused due to tenant abuse or neglect, the tenant will be charged for the cost of repairs.

  • If a tenant calls maintenance after hours because she/he is locked out of her/his apartment, the tenant will be charged $35.00 per incident.
